We’re hosting auditions all over the US and in the UK, and everyone’s invited! THE BLUE WAY Interactive Audition Experience brings you one-step closer to the Bluecoats’ experience whether for a day or an entire summer! At these events we’re looking for two things:

  1. Performers seeking the summer of a lifetime and a challenge fit for the world’s finest performers.
  2. Aspiring musicians who want to have the Bluecoats’ experience even for just 1 or 2 days.

1. Register & Pay Online via Eventbrite:

Complete the Eventbrite registrations below to audition at our Texas Audition Camp, Ohio Audition Camp, California Audition Camp and Georgia Audition Camp.

The camp registration fee for the 2018 THE BLUE WAY Audition Experience Camps is $200 (Texas, Ohio and Georgia two-day camps) or $100 (California one-day camp).  All registrations paid before 11/1/2017 will receive a $25 Early Bird Registration Discount.  All camp/registration fees are non-refundable.

Important: Your online application will be used as your membership application. Please complete the application as accurately and as thoroughly as possible. We are serious about those people who are serious about us! Please do not register if you do not believe you will be attending one of our audition camps.

If you are flying to an audition camp, please ONLY use the following airports:

Texas:  DFW (Dallas-Ft.Worth International Airport)

IMPORTANT: For the Texas camp, the corps will be able to provide transportation at no charge to and from the airport, but only if you fly in before 10am on Saturday morning and depart after 3pm on Sunday.  

Ohio: CLE (Cleveland Hopkins International Airport), CAK (Akron-Canton Airport)

IMPORTANT: For the Ohio camp, the corps will be able to provide transportation at no charge to and from these airport, but only if you fly in before 9pm on Friday evening and depart after 5pm on Sunday.

Georgia: (Hartsfield-Jackson Inernational Airport)

IMPORTANT: For the Georgia camp, the corps will be able to provide transportation at no charge to and from airport, but only if you fly in before 10am on Saturday morning and depart after 3pm on Sunday.

NOTE: Failure to contact us before Wednesday of the week of each camp means we CANNOT pick you up.  We do not provide transportation to/from the airport for the UK and California camps.

What to Expect at Camp, and Additional Questions

Please bring your own Bb marching brass instrument or marching percussion instrument. We will have our equipment, but there will be a limited quantity available. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and any personal items needed for an overnight stay. Please wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes. We may be rehearsing outside (weather permitting), so please also bring a jacket.  See our Audition/Membership FAQ for additional answers and information.

Information for Parents

A parent information meeting will be held immediately following registration/orientation at both the Texas and Ohio camps. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings and learn more about the Bluecoats experience!

In addition, as a parent, you are welcome to stay overnight with the Bluecoats if you volunteer for part or all of the weekend camp! We are always in need of help with cooking, uniforms and cleaning and repairing our vehicles and equipment trailers.
