Genevieve Geisler began her career at Bluecoats as the Operations Director in 2006, and expanded her role to include Finance Director in 2016. In 2018, she was named Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operations Officer. In these capacities, she now oversees the Bluecoats program operations; supply chain; participant health, wellness, and safety; and our financial and accounting practices. Genevieve served the organization as a volunteer for several years before taking on the role of Food Service and Volunteer Coordinator for the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
As CFO and COO, Genevieve is responsible for management of key financial and other operational duties as they relate to the day-to-day business of the Bluecoats organization. She manages the corps’ finances and accounting; runs the merchandise, volunteer and food service programs; operates Bluecoats Bingo; and coordinates member services.
Genevieve holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Michigan. She is originally from Watervliet, Michigan, and currently lives in North Canton, Ohio, with her husband, David, and daughters, Gillian and Marijke.
