Lindsay Kusmierczak is a native of Southern Illinois, and has been involved in the pageantry arts for over 20 years. After beginning her color guard career by joining in her high school’s marching band and winter guard programs, Lindsay spent her summers marching with Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps, and then the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Lindsay was also a member of the Phantom Regiment Winter Guard.
Lindsay has taught several drum corps, including: Southwind, the Glassmen, the Blue Knights, the Phantom Regiment, as well as Millennium, an Italian drum corps, located in Northern Italy. In addition to teaching drum corps, Lindsay has also been a staff member with Paramount World Winter Guard, from Atlanta, GA, as well as BOA & WGI finalist, Harrison High School, from Kennesaw, GA.
Lindsay currently serves as the color guard director at Prosper High School in Prosper, TX and is a member of the staffs at Broken Arrow HS, L.D. Bell HS, and Flower Mound HS. She has a MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, as well as a BA in Art with a minor in art history from Northern Illinois University Lindsay currently resides just north of Dallas, TX, with her boyfriend Jason, and their pups: CeCe & Bean.
