Jeremiah Wooten first got involved with Bluecoats in 2017, when Christopher Drake convinced him to come help kick off the inaugural season of Bluecoats Indoor. After working as an administrative intern for the 2018 indoor season, Jeremiah worked some projects on the development side of the organization and took on the role of CRM & IT Manager.
Despite never participating in any of Bluecoats instructional programs, Jeremiah is no stranger to the marching arts, having spent four seasons as drum major of Nashville-based Music City Drum Corps from 2015 through the corps’ inaugural world class season in 2018.
As part of the Bluecoats Indoor administrative staff, Jeremiah plans staff travel and housing logistics, facilitates prop maintenance and transportation, and assists with other duties necessary to running an independent world class winterguard.
As CRM & IT Manager, Jeremiah is responsible for planning and maintaining the backend systems of data management, workflows, and communications that enable Bluecoats staff to operate efficiently and effectively. He also assists with many of the organization’s giving campaigns including The Shield sustaining membership program.
Jeremiah resides in Columbia, Missouri, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri. In his free time, he occasionally pretends to be a fan of the Nashville Predators.
