Drum corps is one of those experiences that sticks with you for a lifetime. We know that for most of you the Bluecoats Experience has stuck with you for a lifetime. All one has to do is look at the alumni around at events, and they’ll find participants and staff dating back to the very earliest roots of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.

Bluecoats alumni are invited to our second-annual Alumni Homecoming Weekend! This event-packed weekend will take place in Stark County, mostly near Bluecoats Spring Training at the University of Mount Union.

One of the annual traditions with alumni is Christmas IN JULY. Bloo elves coordinating the Christmas festivities for July 25th starting in June. “Santa” counts on the Alumni Elves to help bring on the cheer. This tradition puts a lot of smiles on our members during one of the toughest parts of the season and we thank you advance. Our Alumni Christmas IN JULY, along with the Adopt-A-Member program is what sets the Bluecoats apart from the rest. There will be more details will be provided on our Bluecoats Alumni Facebook page as the donation window opens. Thanks for your support!

Early in Spring Training, Bluecoat Alumni host History Night where current members interact with alumni and learn about the storied history of the organization. Various forms of sponsorship fund this night, including throwback shirt sales, picnic tickets, and flat donations. Members enjoy a catered meal with alumni, receive a special throwback shirt, pass through a display of corps artifacts, and experience a 90-minute multimedia presentation including a special focus on the “decade” anniversary.
2024 History Night: We are thrilled to share that History Night will happen in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend! After the Community Preview Celebration on June 29, we will re-convene to an auditorium on the University of Mount Union campus for History Night!
