The First Step Fund

The First Step Fund focuses on the initial barrier that prevents access to the Bluecoats experience: auditioning. While Bluecoats offers virtual audition options, the cost to audition can be a barrier for some. Your gift to the First Step Fund will increase access to the Bluecoats experience and break down this challenging barrier for those that need it.

Frank Pasquerella Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2020, the Frank Pasquerella Memorial Scholarship fund is an endowed fund in the Bluecoats Endowment that provides a perpetual scholarship to students attending Bluecoats educational programming like The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp. Donations to this fund will be added to the principal of the endowed gift, and will ensure that this scholarship continues to support young people for generations to come.

Frank Pasquerella marched the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps in the 80s, and left a lasting legacy. Frank will forever be remembered as the original Autumn Leaves trumpet soloist, a position that now holds the highest of honors among the hornline. The song has since become the official corps song. Students awarded this scholarships are honored annually at Bluecoats Opening Night Community Celebration.

General Scholarship Fund

Each year Bluecoats offers a variety of scholarship and financial aid awards to participants of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps, The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp, and other programs. Donations to the General Scholarship Fund are used to support drum corps participants at the discretion of the program directors.
