Ground Transportation

Bluecoats offers ground transportation shuttle service from local airports for performers, camp attendees, staff, and auditionees from the audition process through the conclusion of the Summer Tour. Ground transportation for each event throughout the year varies, though our standards are steadfast. We're dedicated to the safety of all those travelling with the Bluecoats, so all Bluecoats-facilitated drivers are required to clear a rigorous Motor Vehicle Record check in addition to a background check.

  • Bluecoats offers ground transportation shuttle services for The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp. Camp attendees have the following options:

    • Shuttle service to/from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK): $20 per trip ($40 round-trip)

    • Shuttle service to/from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE): $35 per trip ($70 round-trip)

    Bluecoats also offers the option for The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp attendees to book an additional overnight stay at the University of Mount Union on Saturday night for $60. This option can be convenient for those looking to travel on Sunday morning instead of Saturday night at the conclusion of the Opening Night Community Celebration.

    Please note that these travel and accommodation options are available to camp attendees only. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate friends or family of camp attendees.

    Airports:

    • Akron-Canton (CAK): $20 per trip ($40 round-trip)

    • Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE): $35 per trip ($75 round-trip)

    Wednesday, June 24: shuttle service will begin at 10:15 am. Plan to land no later than 10:00 am on Wednesday morning.

    Saturday, June 27: shuttle service will begin at 9:15 pm. Plan to depart no earlier than 11:15 pm on Saturday night.

    • If an earlier departure is booked, Bluecoats may be able to provide ground transportation, but understand you may be asked to leave before the Performance Camp has concluded

    Sunday, June 28: If you book an additional overnight stay on Saturday night ($60), shuttles begin at 5:00 am on Sunday, June 28. Plan to depart no earlier than 7:00 am on Sunday morning.

    • If an earlier departure is booked, Bluecoats may be able to provide ground transportation, but understand you may be asked to leave before the Leadership Symposium has concluded

  • Please review the following shuttle guidelines before booking your travel and requesting a shuttle.
