Bluecoats is seeking Athletic Training Interns (MSAT Students) who will join the sports medicine team under the direct supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Trainers. This is a 6-week internship starting late-May and going through the end of June.
MSAT Internship Overview
MSAT interns are welcome from across the United States to join our sports medicine team for a supervised, autonomous internship. Whether the student is completing this for their master’s program or just to make their experience a bit more diverse, we welcome all to see what sports medicine is like within the marching arts! We have 6 internship spots to fill with athletic training students that are going into their second year of their master’s program. MSAT interns will be supervised and precepted by our Head Athletic Trainer and our team of 6-8 certified Athletic Trainers from all across the country (certified in the state of Ohio). Interns will have their food, housing, and travel covered. This is an opportunity for MSAT students to explore how they might want to practice as a certified with the ability to still ask questions! Interns will be stationed with Bluecoats at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio for Bluecoats Spring Training! The sports medicine team is to be equipped and ready for all types of care at any time as there are a wide variety of injuries/illnesses that occur within Drum Corps.
