Bluecoats To Perform At Stark Pride Festival 2023

The corps will send a small ensemble to lead the pride walk and the opening presentation on the Centennial Plaza stage in Downtown Canton, OH.

We are excited to announce our involvement in the 2023 Stark Pride Festival! 2023 will mark the second annual Stark Pride Festival and will be held at Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton, OH on Saturday, June 10. The event will include a pride walk, music, speakers, activities for children and youth, booths, food, and more!

Bluecoats will bring a small ensemble of trumpets and colorguard performers to the event, playing and marching in the pride walk and on the main Centennial Plaza stage

“Being back in our local community for Spring Training allows us the exciting opportunity to get involved with local events like Stark Pride Festival,” said Bluecoats CEO Mike Scott. “I’m looking forward to the Bluecoats performing at this rich cultural event and for our young performers to have the opportunity to celebrate Pride as both LGBTQ+ students and allies when they would typically be busy rehearsing at Spring Training.”
