In Memory of Larry Rebillot
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved board member Larry Rebillot, who lost his brief battle with cancer this morning.
Active within the Bluecoats organization in every decade of our fifty year history, Larry served in countless ways: as a mellophone player, drum major, color guard caption head, donor, volunteer, hall of famer, and a board member of more than ten years. His impact on the activity also extended far beyond the Bluecoats organization.
Larry was a former drum major of the Bayonne Bridgemen, spent many years working with the famed Calgary Stampede, and served proudly as a color guard judge and beloved instructor of high school, collegiate, and independent color guards.
Our thoughts are with all of those whose lives have been impacted by Larry’s incredible spirit; few people have made as profound an impact on our organization and the drum corps activity. He will be forever remembered by the Bluecoats Community for his lifetime of dedicated service.
The Bluecoats organization will provide updates on ways Larry’s life will be celebrated as they are made available.
