Bluecoats calls home many rich and vibrant communities that appreciate the performing arts and the experience it brings to young people. Our community partners assist us with in-kind support and through sharing the knowledge and resources that make their organization special.
Dr. Elliot Cleveland and his organization Marching Health partners with Bluecoats to provide our students with a safe and healthy environment. Drum corps participants complete the 12-week “Ultimate Drum Corps Workout” through our BluecoatStrong program, and Dr. Cleveland and several interns serve on our Health & Wellness team throughout the summer season.
PPI Graphics is the official print shop of Bluecoats. The Canton, OH staple serves as the mail house for Bluecoats marketing and development printing and mailing and is a generous donor of our annual Summer Program and Annual Report magazine.
Stark Community Foundation
In 2017 Bluecoats announced the start of the Bluecoats Endowment, a fund that will help to secure the organization’s future and allow donors to give in a way that guarantees that their gift makes a lasting impact. The Stark Community Foundation and Bluecoats have partnered to maintain the fund.
PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME
Bluecoats and the Pro Football Hall of Fame have shared Canton as a home, and excellence as a virtue for nearly fifty years.
In 2019 Bluecoats and the Hall of Fame announced and exciting joint project called the Bluecoats Band of Excellence at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The program invites high school students from around the US to join in two days of education, experience, and excellence.
Drum Corps International
Founded in the same year, Bluecoats has been a long time Member of Drum Corps International and shares in a vision of drum corps and the marching arts as an excellent medium for youth development and bringing incredible performing arts experiences to audiences around the globe.
PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEMENT FESTIVAL
The Bluecoats and the PFHOFEF partner each year to put on the Tour of Champions - Northeast Ohio, one of the final “regular season” shows on the DCI Summer Tour.
