Arrival Information By Section

• Percussion

  • Move into UMU on Friday, May 15 in the evening

    • If driving: Arrive to Shields no earlier than 6:00p, no later than 10:00p

    • If flying: Shuttle service will begin at 5:00p, ending at 9:00p

      • CAK: about 0:30 from UMU, preferred flying location

      • CLE: about 1:15 from UMU

  • Rehearsals begin Saturday morning at UMU

  • Meals served through UMU cafeteria

    • No meals provided on Friday

    • Full meal service begins Saturday morning, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner (no snack provided until full corps moves in)

• Leadership

  • Arrive to UMU on Monday, May 18th early in the morning

    • If driving: Arrive to HPCC by 1:00p

    • If flying: Shuttle service will begin at 10:30a

      • CAK: about 0:30 from UMU, please land no later than 12:00p, preferred flying location

      • CLE: about 1:15 from UMU, please land no later than 10:30a

  • Leadership summit will begin on Monday afternoon, with lunch provided for those arriving before 1:00p

  • Dinner will also be provided in the cafeteria Monday, followed by full BLD meal service on Tuesday

• International & Tubas

  • Arrive to UMU on Monday, May 18th, in the evening

    • If driving: Arrive to Bica-Ross no earlier than 6:00p, no later than 10:00p

    • If flying: Shuttle service will begin at 5:00p, ending at 9:00p

      • CAK: about 0:30 from UMU, preferred flying location

      • CLE: about 1:15 from UMU

  • There will be no meals provided on May 18th. Please arrive having already eaten. Full meal service, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner will begin on Tuesday, May 19th.

  • International Students: this is an option provided for you to arrive a day early so you can get settled before the rest of the drum corps arrives. You are not required to arrive on the 18th, and may arrive on the 20th with the rest of the drum corps, if you would like.

  • Tubas: There will be sectionals for the tuba section throughout the day on Tuesday, May 19 You are being offered the opportunity to arrive on May 18th, so that you can begin rehearsals promptly on the 19th, though you may also arrive early on the 19th. More information about these sectionals coming at a later date from your caption staff and section leader.

• Full Corps

  • Arrive to UMU on Tuesday, May 19

  • Check-in will be open at Bica-Ross from 12:00p through 8:00p

  • If Flying

    • Fly into either CLE or CAK

    • There will be bus shuttle in the afternoon from CLE to UMU

    • Shuttles will operate as needed, beginning at 12:00p

  • First meal provided by Bluecoats will be dinner on Tuesday, May 19, with full meal service beginning on Wednesday, May 20

  • Full Corps Meeting in Giese Performing Arts Center @ 9:00 PM

  • Rehearsal begins on Wednesday, May 20
