Operations Team Member

Bluecoats, Inc. is seeking to hire Operations Team Members who will assist in the management of the 2026 Summer Tour of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps.

Candidates will be industrious, energetic, and interested in engaging in work behind the scenes, managing, operating and producing an 8,000-mile summer tour. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of the modern drum corps activity. The position will start on/around May 19th and last until the end of the season at the DCI World Championships, ending August 8th.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Tour Manager and assist with the following regular tasks:

    • Learn the inner workings of Bluecoats processes

    • Travel assistance management

    • Completing ground transportation shuttles

    • Shopping & foodservice pick-ups

    • Daily administrative and Operations errands

    • Mail sorting and distribution

    • Clerical tasks, general administration

    • Salesforce administration and data entry

    • General tour management including moving in the ensemble, organizing the day, etc

Requirements

  • Be 23 or older by May 19, 2026

  • Submission of a driving record background check

Travel, Schedule & Other Requirements

  • Looking for personnel available for either or both Spring Training (times between May 19 - June 28) and Summer Tour (June 29 - Aug 8).

  • Contractor will travel to Bluecoats programming at Bluecoats’ expense

  • Travel, food, and accommodations are provided for the length of the engagement

  • Contractor will be required to submit to standard Background Screening, accept the Participant Safety Agreement, and comply with all code of conduct and other applicable contractor policies

Compensation Range & Benefits

  • $500 per week

  • Contractor will travel to Bluecoats programming at Bluecoats’ expense

  • Travel, food, and accommodations are provided for the length of the engagement
