Bluecoats Announce Bloo19 Audition Experience Camps

REGISTRATION OPEN CLICK HERE! Today's the day! Beginning today you can register to attend one of four Audition Experience Camps and start the journey towards a summer with the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps. In order to bring the Bluecoats experience to you, we're hosting an event in Texas, Ohio, Southern California, and Georgia for all sections. The Texas, Ohio, and Atlanta-area camps will be two-day events with overnight accommodations in the gym and the SoCal camp will be a one-day event.

The dates for the Bloo19 Audition Experience Camps are:

  • November 17-18 - TX Audition Camp
  • November 23 -25 - Canton, OH Audition Camp
  • December 2 - CA Audition Camp
  • December 8-9 - Atlanta, GA Audition Camp

Registration is now open, and all skill levels are welcome. That's right! If you're not sure whether you're ready for a summer with Bluecoats, we encourage you to come and get a feel for our audition experience. Such a huge part of auditioning for a world-class drum corps is learning how to audition, not just what you'll be performing.

Following these four audition events, Bluecoats will host one final Audition Experience Camp in January where all performers invited to a callback audition converge on Canton, OH to set the corps. The Bluecoats rehearse once per month in February, March, and April before moving into Spring Training in May. In 2019 the Bluecoats will travel more than 10,000 miles and perform for hundreds of thousands of fans and young performers around the United States. The DCI Summer Tour culminates in the 2019 DCI World Championships in Indianapolis, IN in August. Last year the Bluecoats were the bronze medalists performing Session 44.

Are you ready for the Bluecoats Audition Experience Camps? We are!
