Halfway through BLOO20 Audition Experiences!

This weekend we finished our second Audition Experience Camp, right where we were founded, in Canton, OH. If you couldn’t make it this weekend, but still want to audition for the 2020 Bluecoats, don’t worry; we still have two Audition Experiences left in Georgia and California and it’s not too late to register to start your Bluecoats Experience! We also have video auditions open now until December 18th for brass and percussion and January 3rd for color guard.

All sections were at Ohio camp, working hard throughout the weekend to learn Bluecoats warm-ups, technique, music, and choreography. The young auditionees rehearsed and enjoyed downtime during meal breaks and before lights out to reconnect with existing friends and meet new ones. Culminating in a family and friends performance to showcase all their hard work, the audition weekend was packed full of growth and learning.

The auditionees weren’t the only ones hard at work over the weekend though! The Bluecoats design team was in meetings all weekend discussing and designing the 2020 program. We’re already excited to share this program with you, it’s bound to be another thrilling season!
