The ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we’re launching our Annual Campaign. We hope that while you’re spending time enjoying the holiday season and finding ways to give back, you’ll think of Bluecoats and consider making a donation to support our mission of providing music and performance programs for youth. We seek to provide youth with an opportunity to develop leadership, personal, character, and social skills by emphasizing the challenge, excitement, and self-discipline presented through travel, competition, and the pursuit of excellence.

“Our goal this giving season is to add 50 new Sustaining Members to The Shield.

The Shield represents a mission, launched by the Canton Police Boys’ Club, dedicated to the growth of young people. That mission has held the symbol of a police shield as its calling card since before Bluecoats was founded in 1972. Today that shield comes to the protection of Bluecoats in the form of a monthly giving community. ”

When you become a Sustaining Member of The Shield, your donation will directly fund the programs that keep the mission alive today. To ensure your membership supports Bluecoats for a lifetime,  50% of your donation will be automatically invested into the Bluecoats Endowment Fund. As a Sustaining Member of The Shield, you are a VIP at the heart of our mission. You will have exclusive access into a community of our most ardent supporters and behind-the-scenes content, putting you in direct contact with the programs that you support. 

Each year thousands of young people perform, learn, and travel through Bluecoats programs. When you make a one-time donation, join our Planned Giving Society, or donate monthly as a Sustaining Member of The Shield, your support reaches these young Bluecoats students.
