Yesterday, for #GivingTuesdayNow, we set two fundraising goals to help us toward our 2020 fundraising goal of $350,000! We aimed to get our Sustaining Membership of The Shield up to 200 members and raise $5,000 in one-time donations. Not only did we reach both of our goals, but we surpassed them! Your continued support as we weather the cancellation of the 2020 season, the temporary closure of Champion Bingo, and the loss of many of our summer fundraising events, has been overwhelming. Your support is helping us continue the Bluecoats Experience this summer and for years to come.
Our first goal yesterday was to increase the Sustaining Membership of The Shield to 200 members. We gained 7 new members, bringing our total membership up to 201! Members of The Shield join a community of our most ardent supporters. They also got special perks like behind-the-scenes content and discounts at the Bluecoats Marketplace! We’re so grateful to be able to count on them month after month to help Protect the Future of Bluecoats.
Our second goal was to raise $5,000 in one-time donations! Throughout the day we received $5,415 in contributions from YOU - our generous supporters! Additionally, the first $1,000 was matched dollar-for-dollar by a very generous donor, bringing our total donations yesterday up to $6,415. Thank you to our everyone who made a contribution to help us meet this goal. We’ve passed $160,000 raised toward our 2020 fundraising goal of $350,000 and we absolutely couldn’t have done it without you.
