Jim Moore Inducted to Bluecoats Hall of Fame
During the Bluecoats Telethon at the beginning of August, we inducted Jim Moore to the Bluecoats Hall of Fame. Although we couldn’t do our regular in-person celebrations, Bluecoats CEO Mike Scott, Executive Advisor David Glasgow, and Program Coordinator Dean Westman had a video call to chat about why Jim Moore is so deserving of this honor.
The Colorguard Caption Supervisor, Designer & Choreographer who first joined the Bluecoats team in 2013 has become an integral part of Bluecoats. He reflects the heart and soul of the Bluecoats through his design and choreography—creating the unique style that the Bluecoats Community loves. Jim has choreographed and designed iconic Bluecoats productions like 2014 TILT, 2016 Down Side Up, and 2019 The Bluecoats, leaving a lasting impression.
But Jim Moore brings more than his magical design and choreography to the organization. He’s appreciated for his warmth and kindness as a student-centered educator that truly cares about each performer he teaches and his honesty about what feels right for a production. On tour almost every day in the summer, Jim is constantly immersed in producing a Bluecoats program that feels honest.
“Nobody loves the Bluecoats like Jim Moore loves the Bluecoats and that’s why I love Jim Moore,” said Dean Westman.
