A Weekend-Long Celebration in Northeast Ohio!

We’re celebrating 50 years in a big way this weekend in Northeast Ohio! Come celebrate with us with free concerts and a field show!

 
  1. Innovations In brass: northeast Ohio - Saturday, July 2

Catch the Bluecoats performing Riffs & Revelations right here in Northeast Ohio! This celebration of drum corps happens Saturday, July 2 at Dix Stadium at Kent State University.

Alongside the Bluecoats, watch Columbus Saints, Rogues Hollow Regiment, Cincinnati Tradition, Music City, and Carolina Crown. It all starts at 7pm and ends after the Bluecoats perform a special encore at 9:16 pm.

 

2. Party in the Plaza - Sunday, JULY 3 - FREE!

After an incredibly successful first year in 2021, Party in the Plaza returns for a special 50th anniversary birthday edition! Join us for an exciting day from 1:30 - 9:30 pm on Sunday, July 3 at Centennial Plaza in Canton! Did we mention it’s free? In addition to some great Canton-area musical acts, we’ll have family-friendly activity booths from YMCA, Arts in Stark, and the Stark Library. When you need a bite to eat, head over to Jerzee’s, or grab some food from one of the food trucks!

Schedule:

2:00 pm - Kid-Friendly Drum Circle feat. Elec Simon!

3:00 pm - RZ Jazz takes the stage with a 6-piece Jazz Band.

5:00 pm - En-Rich-Ment Drumline returns for a special performance.

5:25 pm - Canton’s very own Matt Corey Band lights up the stage!

6:40 pm - Classic Canton-favorite The Scenic Route!

8:00 pm - The Bluecoats! Bring a chair or a blanket to enjoy this free Bluecoats concert. We’ll also announce the inaugural recipients of the new Champion Award!

 

3. Monumental fourth feat. the bluecoats & the bluecoats alumni corps - Monday, JULY 4 - FREE!

Celebrate the Fourth with a 550+ performer concert! The Bluecoats and the Bluecoats 50th Anniversary Alumni Corps will perform a spectacular concert on the steps of the McKinley Presidential Monument, followed by a fireworks display! Gates open at 6 pm, with welcome statements at 7:30 pm. Then, sit back & enjoy some incredible performances! Fireworks begin at 9:50 pm.

Bluecoats last performed at Monumental Fourth in 2015!
