Musical Adventures by Poppins Travel Company To Become The Official Student Travel Company of Bluecoats
Musical Adventures by Poppins Travel Company will highlight the educational excellence of the Bluecoats organization by featuring Bluecoats instructors at the new National All-Star Marching Band hosted at Walt Disney World® Resort in January 2027.
Musical Adventures by Poppins Travel Company is the newest Season Sponsor of the Bluecoats Summer Music Series. The comprehensive sponsorship package, which supports the Bluecoats organization’s Stark-county based performing arts events, includes the Pittsburgh-based travel agency’s designation as the Official Student Travel Company of Bluecoats.
In a demonstration of the two organizations’ shared belief that performing arts experiences enrich the lives of young people, Musical Adventures by Poppins Travel Company will also engage representatives from the Bluecoats world-renowned educational team to serve as instructors for the new National All-Star Marching Band, which is being held at Walt Disney World® Resort. This breakout program will provide a life-changing experience to high school musicians from across the United States.
Founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Musical Adventures by Poppins Travel Company specializes in student travel experiences for performing arts ensembles across the United States. The Bluecoats Summer Music Series, which features over five events in Stark and Summit counties, will host more than 20,000 attendees and young performers in June and August. The series kicks off during Opening Weekend, when The Blue Way Summer Arts Camp hosts more than 250 young performers and music educators for four days during the final days of Bluecoats Spring Training. Those young performers help kick off the DCI Summer Tour when they perform alongside the Bluecoats at Bluecoats Opening Night Community Celebration, presented by Huntington Bank. After the corps completes a national tour spanning across the continental US, the Bluecoats Summer Music Series ends with The Blue Way Middle School Honor Band and Innovations in Brass, one of the nation’s largest drum corps contests, which is the final “regular season” event of the DCI Summer Tour.
