Touring/Non-Touring Audio Intern
Bluecoats, Inc. is seeking an Audio Intern for the 2026 season. This position is for an up-and-coming audio engineer looking to receive hands-on experience with professional audio gear in a world-class production environment. The intern will tour and be with the group for the entirety of Spring Training. Candidate will report to the Lead Audio Engineer and Audio Systems Designer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help to build the audio system during spring training
Assist the Lead Audio Engineer and A2 with any audio needs that may arise
Help to maintain various pieces of equipment with the system tech
REQUIREMENTS
General knowledge of audio signal flow
General knowledge of RF wireless gear
General knowledge of IT networking as it pertains to AV applications
Must be able to communicate effectively with other team members
Must be able to lift >50 lbs
Must have good time management and learn at a quick pace
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Previous knowledge or experience in drum corps
Some knowledge of Mainstage and how audio and midi interfaces are used with said program.
COMPENSATION RANGE & BENEFITS
Contractor will travel to Bluecoats programming at Bluecoats’ expense
Internship program compensation and scope will be discussed during interview process
Travel, food, and accommodations are provided for the length of the engagement
