10,000 miles, 32 performances, and nearly 300,000 audience members later, the final performance of “The BLUECOATS” left a Lucas Oil crowd of more than 20,000 on their feet.

In a whirlwind of a season that included record breaking crowds, scores, and even a performance as the headliner of the NFL Hall of Fame Game halftime, “The BLUECOATS” swept the nation and the drum corps world as a much-celebrated “concert celebrating the forward-thinking spirit of love, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion that The Beatles embodied.”

Bluecoats Launches Participation in 2019 Drum Corps Giving Challenge

Each year Drum Corps International and its participating organizations spend the final weeks of the DCI Summer Tour in an exciting and good-natured “race” to raise the most money in the Drum Corps Giving Challenge.

Every donation to any campaign during this time counts toward a drum corps’ total in the race, and the earnings are tracked at the official Giving Challenge website. Today, Bluecoats launched our portion of the campaign.

Bluecoats Will Perform Halftime at NFL Hall of Fame Game Next Month

In a press release issued this morning, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 2019 halftime act for the NFL Hall of Fame Game, and it’s an act you might recognize! On August 1st, when the Broncos and the Falcons face off in Canton at the annual pre-season NFL game - the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps will entertain the crowd at halftime with their 2019 production The BLUECOATS!

“Each summer we leave Canton and take our show to audiences all over the United States. It’s so exciting that this year we get to bring something as special as this years’ show right to the most exciting event in our hometown!” said Mike Scott, CEO of Bluecoats. The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Bluecoats both share Canton as a hometown, and both organizations cite “excellence” as a core characteristic in their mission and statements.
