During the past few months, the Bluecoats Community has demonstrated a level of support unmatched in Bluecoats history. The cancellation of the Bluecoats’ 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic has created one of the most significant challenges the Bluecoats organization has ever faced.

At the beginning of May, we announced a 2020 fundraising goal of $350,000 and so far, the Bluecoats Community has come together to raise over $177,500 towards that goal! With just under half the goal remaining, the Helmet Fund is being launched. Donors who make a gift of $250 or greater will receive an official Bluecoats commemorative helmet as a thank you for their generous donation!

We’ve been working hard to keep the Bluecoats Experience active for our 2020 members. Shortly over a month ago, we shared our plan to continue the Bluecoats Experience and April Camp In The Cloud provided the perfect opportunity for us to get started. Since April Camp In The Cloud on April 25-26, we’ve hosted daily mindfulness calls, weekly group workouts, and weekly social events to keep our members involved and engaged. We caught up with some of our 2020 members to see how they’ve been enjoying them!

Last night, we hosted a #movingINBLUE Town Hall for the Bluecoats community to come together and “move in blue” when we normally would’ve been celebrating the start of a new Spring Training and season. The group conference call was joined by over 200 fans, staff, parents, members, and alumni. It was incredible to see the faces of so many of our wonderful supporters!
