After Summer Tour Cancellation, 2020 Drum Corps Will Not Take The Field
Yesterday, together with our fellow members of Drum Corps International, we made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 drum corps season. The field will go dark, the music will stop, and decades-long traditions like the local “Innovations In Brass” drum corps competition will be canceled.
Today we join in support of all who love the drum corps tradition. We are confident that, together, we will #MarchOn, and we are already overwhelmed by the support that our community is providing.
Bluecoats Will Move Corps’ April Rehearsal Camp To Online Conference
STATEMENT - Following the recommendations of the Ohio Department of Health, and the recent public order in the State of Ohio, the Bluecoats organization is moving our April rehearsal camp to an online, attend-from-home event called April Camp in the Cloud.

We have tickets for sale in our seating block at DCI World Championships, rooms available in our hotel block, and to wrap it all up we have the 2020 Bluecoats Banquet on Sunday, August 9!

All the equipment that makes the Bluecoats great is available for August 2020 pre-sale now! We have trumpets, mellophones, baritones, euphoniums, tubas, tenor trombones, marimbas, vibraphones, timpani, and xylophones, all in great condition and available in August 2020. Get them before they’re gone!
Rhythm IN BLUE Audition Experience Camp delivers Bluecoats Experience
Part of the Bluecoats mission is to bring the Bluecoats Experience to as many young people as possible. That’s why we recently announced a new version of Rhythm IN BLUE that brings the Bluecoats Experience to a broader audience. For the first time ever, Rhythm IN BLUE is open to all brass, color guard, and drum set or auxiliary percussionists who are over 18. The ensemble will perform at several shows in the Ohio area, including the Bluecoats-hosted Three Great Shows. Performers will also go on a mini-tour culminating in a performance at the Soundsport International Music and Food Festival which takes place in Indianapolis during Drum Corps International finals week.
